The All-University Committee on International Programs is a senatorial body that provides guidance and oversight on many issues related to study abroad and international student programs on the SF State campus. Sometimes, this involves the approval and ratification of exchange agreements with partner universities around the world, at other times this concerns the planning and development of life-changing programs for international and exchange students. At all times, the AUCIP is a group of staff and faculty devoted to preserving internationalism in higher education. AUCIP believes that academic and cross-cultural partnership with nations around the world prepares SF State students for fulfilling lives and dynamic careers. All of which help to make the world a better place to live, to think, and to create.

In short, “[t]he All-University Committee on International Programs "is responsible for maintaining liaisons with...offices or groups that affect, or are affected by, the operation of the University's international programs."
