COMPUTATION OF GPA
OF GRADUATE STUDENTS
ACADEMIC SENATE
POLICY F78-35
At its meeting of May 9, 1978, the Academic Senate approved
the following policy for computation of GPA of graduate students as follows:
1. Only those courses attempted by a student
during a seven year period from the last date of enrollment will be used in
determining a student’s academic standing;
2. Post-baccalaureate students who are
post baccalaureate special or basic credential candidates will be required to
maintain a GPA of 2.50 in all work attempted in the last seven years since
their current post-baccalaureate enrollment in the University;
3. Master degree candidates and
advanced credential candidates will be required to maintain a 3.00 GPA in all
work attempted in the last seven years since their current enrollment as a
post-baccalaureate student in the University.
