Receipt of the Faculty Work Assignment Equity Task Force Report

Resolved:

That the San Francisco State Academic Senate (AS) received the Faculty Work Assignment Equity Task Force Report (attached); and be it further

Resolved:

That the senate recognizes that the Work Assignment Equity Task Force document is a report comprised of an accounting of work-assignment equity issues and recommendations for how to address them. It is not, in and of itself, intended to generate immediate implementation. Rather, it provides guidelines on how to address the identified issues and who should initiate actionable recommendations, e.g. the senate through policy, deans, and department chairs and their faculty."

Resolved:

That the AS forward the report to the Faculty Affairs and Strategic Issues Committees for their review and to develop resolutions or policy changes enacting recommendations provided by the task force; and be it further

Resolved:

That the AS forward the report to the Associate Vice President of Faculty Affairs, Deans, Associate Deans, and the department chairs of the six colleges and the Library and request they engage in and facilitate conversations among appropriate stakeholders that would lead to implementation of the recommendations provided by the task force, as appropriate; and be it further

Resolved:
