The most recent SFSU Western Association of Schools & Colleges (WASC) review process began in 2007 and has been ongoing since, and
Whereas:
This process has actively involved teamwork by more than 100 SFSU faculty, staff, students, and administrators, and
Whereas:
WASC-related activities have assiduously examined and reflected on central themes of social justice and civic engagement, changing faculty and student demographics, and student success, and
Whereas:
The WASC review process has been a valuable opportunity for SFSU faculty, staff, and students to better understand, appreciate and engage with their university; now therefore be it
Resolved:
That the Academic Senate of San Francisco State University commend all of those involved in the WASC review process, especially the WASC Steering Committee; and be it further
Resolved:
That the SFSU Academic Senate especially commend and congratulate fellow Senator Linda Buckley, Associate Vice President for Academic Planning and Development, for her exemplary, effective leadership of the WASC process.
